Call to ‘pimp up your steak’ at home for beef week
Welsh BBQ sensation Chris Roberts has kicked-off a challenge aimed at leading Welsh celebrities and the general public to ‘pimp-up’ their steak sandwich, as lockdown provides added time in the kitchen to clear out those store cupboards whilst supporting Welsh farmers during Great British Beef Week (23 – 30 April).

Welsh Lamb Scores Top Traceability Marks in Scientific Study
As the first ever United Nations World Food Safety Day is marked on 7 June, Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) is celebrating the occasion by revealing the first set of results from its world-leading partnership with scientific traceability specialists Oritain. The results suggest that customers can have extremely high confidence in the integrity of PGI Welsh Lamb, with 100% of the samples taken being confirmed as originating from Welsh farms.
